Positive Youth Development lies at the heart of Jabi Consulting.
Critically, we help youth gain access to STEM and digital programming, equipping them with the technical skills needed to compete in today’s workforce marketplace. We also support youth entrepreneurs in growing their small businesses, who in-turn look to hire from their own communities and networks – furthering our mission to increase youth employment in MENA.
Jabi Consulting's team has been managing positive youth developent (PYD) projects across the Middle East and North Africa for over 20 years. We partner with INGOs and local organizations to provide youth across the MENA region with:
capacity strengthening
entrepreneurship training
workforce readiness
financial literacy
Our Work
We have supported several youth and local capacity-building projects funded by FCDO to empower youth and women in northeast Syria. Recently, we completed a comprehensive assessment and evaluation for the State Department’s education stabilization intervention in northeast Syria. We conducted assessment to identify youth needs, gaps, and challenges in Jordan and how to align labor market needs with the training and education sector. We designed and implemented a youth civic engagement and empowerment program in the West Bank and Gaza, focusing on applying youth service learning and community engagement to address youth challenges and turn them into opportunities through in-kind and cash grants. The project served more than 100,000 youth and women.
